94.Kevin Coyne & Dagmar Krause - Sweetheart (Babble,1979)

"Songs for lonely lovers"

Fantastic. Pure masterpiece.A match made in heaven. Dagmar Krause (who sang with Henry Cow, Slapp Happy and Art Bears) is incredible. The complete musical with dialogues between Kevin Coyne and Krause was performed on stage but the text and musicians would change from one representation to another."Sweetheart" is a song about posessive blind love, with the female perspective provided by German chanteuse Dagmar Krause.Song about the successes and failures of communication between lovers with powerful singing and intense emotions more than make up for any lapses. Here,Dagmar singing like dying!
